About Us

I'm Amber, owner and principal agent of Fine Creek Insurance.  I started Fine Creek Insurance in 2022 to help people just like you find affordable auto, home, life and business coverage, while providing the service you need and deserve.  My goal is to make the insurance buying and servicing process modern, but keeping the personal touch in place.

I am a 2002 graduate of Virginia Tech with a background in science, and earned my Masters at VCU in 2004.  I spent 18 years teaching middle school science, but desired to become my own boss while continuing to serve my community.  My connections to the insurance industry began in 2000 when I started working in an auto body shop owned by a family member.  This is where I met my husband who has been in the auto and insurance industry his whole life.  We have a daughter and a dog that keep us on our toes!

 We are an independent agency located in Powhatan, VA servicing VA and NC.
